"Buffalo Bill" - William F. Cody, Scout and Showman (1845 - 1917)
Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show opened in 1883 recreating scenes from the American West. For the next 20 years, millions across the country and throughout Europe experienced Cody's portrayal of the winning of the West. This photograph was taken in Paris during his 1896 European tour.
